Twenty-four Norwood-Fontbonne Academy students were named prize winners in the recent 2018 National Spanish Examination, an online standardized assessment tool measuring proficiency and achievement of students studying Spanish as a second language. All twenty-four students placed with 4 gold, 4 silver, 4 bronze, and 12 honorable mention medals for NFA. This mark of distinction was extraordinary because it gave the students a chance to compete against Spanish 1 students throughout the United States. “I am so proud of these students for their interest in learning Spanish and their preparation for the exam. It is an honor to see all of them place,” remarks Spanish Teacher, Tammi Durfee.
