Annual Fund

Annual Fund

Dear Norwood-Fontbonne Families,

As we turn the calendar page, we welcome the start of October. Technically, I only use an electronic calendar, but you get where I’m going here. October says to me warm apple cider, hayrides, and hikes under a canopy of fall foliage. From my perch up here in the Big House, I have arguably the best view of the Whitemarsh Valley as the leaves just begin to turn.

At NFA, October 1st also announces the launch of the 2018-2019 Annual Fund. Last year the Annual Fund appeal raised in excess of $200,000. Those funds are especially impactful because they have an immediate and direct impact on the day to day life of NFA. These funds allow us to best respond to the needs of our community. We are proud to have consistently strong participation from all stakeholders including 100% participation of staff and advisory board members in 2017-2018. The first fifty days of our campaign really help build momentum for our community. With the help of many, we envision raising over $110,000 in the first 50 days.

A contribution to the Norwood-Fontbonne Academy Annual Fund is an investment in the legacy that has been 98 years in the making. We continue to grow and strive to exceed the highest academic standards. That promise requires continuous upgrades to our learning environments and infrastructure. One thing that has not changed in our 98 years is our commitment to living out the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Our community lives that mission every day through our unique approach to faith formation and service learning to realize social justice.

I hope you will consider making a contribution to the Norwood-Fontbonne Academy Annual Fund at a level appropriate for you and your family. A gift of any size most importantly represents a commitment to the sustained legacy of our unique, vibrant academy which has impacted us all for the better. Thank you for making NFA a priority in your philanthropic planning.

Blessings and peace,

Ryan Killeen, Ed.D.
